"Mujeres Canarias Con-ciencia” pretende acercar a las aulas canarias la importancia y presencia de las científicas de Canarias y trabajar su legado profesional con el alumnado de Primaria, Secundaria, Ciclos formativos y Escuela de Adultos.
El proyecto Mujeres Canarias con-ciencia ha sido realizado por la experta en coeducación y profesora de enseñanza secundaria Mercedes Sánchez Vico, y editado por el Instituto Canario de Igualdad (ICI).
Consta de un calendario en el que cada mes (desde septiembre de 2021 hasta agosto de 2022) se dedica a una científica canaria; además, se destacan algunos días relacionados con los logros o las reivindicaciones de las mujeres en relación con la ciencia.

Además del calendario, se han publicado dos guías didácticas coeducativas, una para Primaria y otra para Secundaria, Ciclos formativos y Escuela de Adultos. Estas publicaciones incluyen detalles sobre los logros de las doce científicas homenajeadas, y la explicación y la propuesta de actividades para trabajar distintos conceptos relacionados con la coeducación.

En cada mes se trabajarán una serie de vocablos coeducativos que toda la comunidad educativa debe conocer y trabajar.
